WARNING! Where Do You Stand?

Warning:  Nations around the world, BEWARE!!!  The fate of millions is at stake!

WARNING!  This will not be like a normal post.  I need to follow His directions!

This week may be one of the most important weeks in prophetic history.  The nations of the world are going to gather themselves together to come to a decision about the fate of Israel.  Do they not realize that this is the very thing that God says He will allow to happen near the end of days?  Whole nations will soon vote for God or against Him.  God?  What vote?  When a nation votes against the people of the covenant, the Israelis, they have made a choice to side against God.  God has a word for you--He is about to withdraw His ambassadors, the church, and give a general call to arms!  You are treading on thin ice and making a decision that will bring Hell to earth!  

Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.  Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.

2011--A Year of Tragedy--Two Weeks Later

All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Matthew 24:8

On the 1st of September, I felt led to share the list of tragedies that seem to be plaguing the world and the US since the beginning of 2011.  In just fifteen days the list continues to grow at an abnormal rate.  Truly, these are the beginning of sorrows.  Do these sorrows have you looking unto Jesus or do they find you hardening your resistance to the LORD and His Christ?  Do they have you gripped in fear or are they a comfort to know that soon we may be with the Lord of Glory as he prepares for the greatest event in human history--His return?  If you are not already a believer, will you ask Jesus to forgive you and begin a lifelong relationship as your Savior?  He loves you much more than you can imagine, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."  (Romans 5:8-9)  Accept Him today.  I guarantee you that it will be the greatest decision that you will ever make!

For some reason, I don't remember writing about the terrible wildfires in Texas.  This state has broken the all time record for drought and heat.  This has caused an awful situation there as fires are ravaging the state with historic destruction.  Texas drought and heat combine for hottest summer in US history  
Ironically, the state next door, Louisiana, suffered through great flooding as Tropical Storm Lee came ashore. Lee hampered the annual homosexual godlessness in New Orleans held annually--Southern Decadence.  This storm would go on through the Mid-Atlantic states and cause more historic flooding.  This devastation came shortly after the remnants of hurricane Irene devastated the region with historic flooding!  (We touched on Irene in the Sep. 1 post.)  Repairing the damage from Tropical Storm Lee will keep midstate contractors busy for months | PennLive.com

Over the last few days, the earth has had a series of 6.0 or greater earthquakes.  Most have not brought major damage, but they have caught the attention of many.  Planet convulses in spasm of major earthquakes in 14 hour period | The Extinction Protocol: 2012 and beyond
Yesterday, a 7.3 quake near Fiji continued a streak of large quakes occurring 188 days apart. On February 27th, 2010 an 8.8 quake struck Concepcion, Chile.  188 days later a 7.1 quake struck Christchurch, New Zealand.  This was followed 188 days later by the 9.0 Japanese Quake.  Yesterday was the 188th day when the quake hit Fiji.  Is there a reason--maybe it is an attention getting event?  Look up--your redemption is drawing nigh.  

Pakistan was devastated last year by historic flooding.   This nation has not learned their lesson for persecuting believers as more flooding is devastating this nation.

Are you paying attention?  Don't slip in your relationship with Jesus.  Don't fall short of calling on Christ for His amazing grace!

Babylon Rising--Nebuchadnezzar Returns?

And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
Genesis 10:8-10

The name of Babylon had the original meaning of the "gateway of God" in the Akkadian language.  This may be why Nimrod chose the location for his tower of futility.  He was trying to block God's access into human affairs.  However, God's purposes cannot be blocked by man nor demon.  After the tower incident, the region was ever more called Babel or Babylon which in Hebrew means confusion. It is certainly confusion to think that you can defeat the living God!

Years later, another ruler of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, raised up his version of the tower.  It was some sort of gold statue placed in the plain of Dura according to Daniel 3:1.  This statue was very near where the tower was built, and it is certain that Nebuchadnezzar saw himself as heir apparent to the godless man Nimrod.  Like Nimrod, he chose to rebel against God's plan.  Why did he make a statue of all gold?  It is quite possible that he did not like Daniel's interpretation of a dream he had where the statue defining the ages only had a head of gold.  He didn't want to be just the head, but he wanted all of history to revolve around him.  At any rate, like Nimrod, his plans failed and his heirs would lose the kingdom to the Medo-Persians just as God had revealed to Daniel.

Yet, did you know that a man in our lifetimes saw himself as the heir apparent of Nebuchadnezzar?  His name was Saddam Huessin.  He began a very interesting project.  He began the rebuilding of the ancient city of Babylon.  For the most part, this city has partially fulfilled the prophecies of Isaiah.  However, the very fact that it is being rebuilt shows that the total fulfillment of Isaiah 13 has not yet been fulfilled by God.  Consider the following:  "And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there (Isaiah 13:19-20)."  It is certain that this has not yet been totally fulfilled if the city is being rebuilt.  This also means that there needs to be a city there that will be destroyed and forever abandoned.

Another interesting thing that Saddam did was that he built around 50 very elaborate palaces throughout Iraq--the region of ancient Babylon.  Why would you need these?  Maybe it is to house the embassies of many nations that are confederated with a world ruler of the last days?  Just a thought.  Not only were these palaces rebuilt, like the city of Babylon, they were off limits as targets in both Gulf Wars.  The rebuilt city of Babylon, to the chagrin of archaeologists worldwide, was home to a temporary camp of the US military and was damaged by digging and the travel of vehicles.  Of course, this means we need to dump billions in to repair it and assist in its rebuilding.

Well how long could it take to rebuild Babylon for the Antichrist.  Consider the building of the city of Dubai.  Here is a picture from 1991.

It seems things can happen quickly in the world today.  The quickest thing to be watching for is the gathering of the church as recorded in 1 Thessalonians 4. It happens in the twinkling of an eye!  Keep looking up, Jesus Christ is Soon2Come!

Greedy Dogs

Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him. Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God.
Micah 3:5-7

I read some great words today in morning devotions, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need"  (Hebrews 4:16).  Also notice this great promise! "He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things"(Romans 8:32)?  Now take a moment and let these two promises set in.  If I have a need, I can boldly go before God's throne of grace personally!  Why?  Because Jesus Christ, my High Priest, is at the right hand of the Father making intercession through the atoning blood that purchases for me all things that pertain to life and holiness.  Next, it states that I am so loved of God that He sent the Choicest Jewel of Heaven to make a way of free access in the time of need and that he will FREELY GIVE ALL THINGS!

Isaiah prophesied greatly against blind and ignorant "watchmen" who could not even bark to sound an alarm of warning against impending judgment.  He went on to say that theses shepherds without understanding were only concerned about their own needs.  All their ministry was for personal gain! Here was the crux of their message, "Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant" (Isaiah 56:12).  Did you catch it?  Their message is one of plenty, prosperity, and abundance while they ignore the truth of sin and impending justice.  Notice also that they too were encouraging sin--let us get drunk?  



Always strive for holiness with the help of God.  It is very important that you understand grace and justice are both attributes of God!  Grace made skins for Adam and Eve, but justice placed a Cherub at the entrance to Eden.  Grace covered Jacob for deceiving his father, but justice allowed the deception from his father-in-law over his wives.  Grace covered Moses at Meribah when he struck the rock rather than speak to it, but justice made him to view the promised land from the summit of Mt. Nebo.  Grace covered the murder and adultery of David, but justice allowed the death of that child of Bathsheba and the death of Absalom (not to mention the other calamities David suffered).  Thank God for grace!  Again, let me say thank God for great grace! He always forgives our sin when we call to Him.  However, be warned!  God's justice does not always forgive the consequences of that sin here on earth.  Consider Galatians 6:7, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

The sin of this nation continues to rise before God as an awful stench.  At a time when holy men of God should be crying out to the people with a grief stricken heart like Micah and Isaiah, most are sharing messages of comfort, ease, abundance, and rest.  Others are greedy dogs only concerned with their own needs while fleecing God's children and exacting a fee where there should be no fee. It is a fact that God's children need to give and grow in stewardship!  Believers will not grow in Christ to maturity without obedience in this area.  However, God forbids that men should attach the answer to prayer with a monetary price tag.  God FREELY answers prayer because of the atoning work of Christ!  Answered prayer is also a grace thing!!!  I have access and answer because the Priest after the order of Melchizedek is at the Father's right hand.  He has said to come boldly to the throne of GRACE that we may obtain in the time of need.



Micah was a contemporary of Isaiah.  He too saw the greedy wolves fleecing God's children, and like Isaiah, he warned that the justice they heap upon themselves would be great.  He promised that they would get no answers from God!  Scary!!  They were willing to bless with abundance as long as their mouths were filled by the one seeking God. They called for war on those who did not have an offering to give them.  They bit God's flock and caused His children to err.  Woe to the prophets of abundance who extort God's children for a bribe when the answers they need were paid by a very expensive bloody cross.  Your heavens will be as brass and the earth beneath as iron. 

What brought this on? My wife stumbled across a site where she was going to post a request for a friend.  Here is what she received when she did not attach an offering. (By the way, there was no mention of the need of prayer for salvation on this site.  Here were the request choices.  Did you notice that the majority were temporal needs and not eternal needs?) 

General, Health, Finance, Relationships, Well Being, Faith  

"Please select the amount you would like to offer for your request.  I’m sorry, but we cannot post your request without an offering.  There are too many in need of powerful prayer at this time, so we only broadcast requests that have sown a seed offering. He who gives of himself receives all which is asked." 

"Give, and it will be given to you. For with the measure you give, it will be measured to you in God's gifts." (Luke 6:38) 

The Bible tells us repeatedly that the most important way to have our prayers answered is to have faith, and give with overwhelming generosity. 

Give when times are tough, give when it does not seem that giving is possible, and God will reward your faith with His generosity in answering your important prayers quickly.

Later, she received this very encouraging e-mail:

 "For the son of man shall come in the glory of his father with his angels; and then shall he reward every man according to his works." Matthew 16:27

Awakening America

I hope that you spend time in prayer for America today!  Our nation suffered a terrible setback ten years ago, but it was also a prophetic warning.  The true setback happened in June of 1963 when the US Supreme Court decided America did not need Christ.  The removal of God and Christ from the public arena has left us without a protective covering at a national level.  Please pray--we are following the same path as ancient Israel before judgment.  Many have quoted this verse to show the resolve of America without realizing that this verse describes an attitude of terrible defiance in the face of God pulling His hand of protection away!  It was quoted by Senator Ted Daschle the very next day--September 12, 2001!  "The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars."  Isaiah 9:10  Read this and then pray!  May the Lamb of God Most Holy bless you!  Please pray!!!

Babylon Rising

Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth. And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah. And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof. Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven. Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.
Zechariah 5:5-11

Where did the unified rebellion against God begin?  Where were a few of the types of the Antichrist seen building and reigning?  What is the second most mentioned place in all of scripture?  What was the first land to destroy and overrun Jerusalem?  What nation's rulers first desecrated the temple of God in Jerusalem?  What city do most of the Old Testament prophets prophesy against other than Jerusalem?  If you said Babylon for every answer, you were correct.


While many have great spiritual interpretations about the identification of Mystery Babylon, the scriptures seem to indicate that a war near the Day of the Lord will restructure the world and create a scenario where the Antichrist will resurrect this long dead city as his new place of rule.  This New Babylon will not only be an economic headquarters, but will be a great religious center where all of the world's religions will unite under one banner.  It is this thought that seems to be the emphasis of Zechariah above. Note that this woman of wickedness was carried to Shinar which is another biblical name for Babylon.  She began in another place but was carried to a new house that was prepared for her.  Harlots in scripture represent perverse religious thought. This is most evident in Numbers 25.  Notice the first two verses, "And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.  And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods."  The men of the camp were drawn into idolatry through the promiscuity of the temptresses of Moab.  






John saw this great economic, political, and spiritual unification as well, and it is he that coined the term, Mystery Babylon, while under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  The scarlet colored beast she rode in Revelation 17 with 7 heads and 10 horns was also clearly described in Revelation 13:1-2, "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority."  Notice the three animals; a leopard, a bear, and a lion.  If we let scripture interpret scripture, these three symbolic animals were already interpreted by Daniel as being symbolic of specific kingdoms.  The leopard represented the Grecian empire, the bear represented Medo-Persia, and the Lion was Babylon.  


The harlot of Babylon will ride a beast that is headquartered in Europe and the Middle East.  She is great wickedness as she denies the true power of salvation--Jesus Christ.  This false religion will have the full backing of Satan and the unholy trinity.  It will unite east and west and all of the world!  She will come about as men try to overcome a recent war with shouts of peace and safety, so they will bow to her wishes as they see this prostitute as a means to accomplish their ends.  Her leader, the Antichrist will seem to be the savior of the world and a man of great peace.  When she is used up, she will be set aside like the trash she is--Antichrist will then call for his deification with Satan's total backing. 


It is impossible to reveal all of the teaching on this subject in just a few paragraphs.  However, if you are paying attention you can see the war that reshapes the Middle East and prepares the way for Antichrist on the horizon.  More important than trying to understand all of the things associated with the Tribulation and the Antichrist, prepare yourself for Jesus' coming and escaping from the hour of trial that is soon 2 come.  While the world is accepting the Harlot of Babylon, Jesus is wedding His chaste bride washed pure in the blood of Calvary who has been removed from the world at the rapture.  There is only one way out, trust Jesus now for the full pardon of your sins and walk with the Lord daily!  Whosoever calls on the name of Jesus shall be saved.  Get ready!  Jesus Christ is Soon2Come!
