ALERT! Warning To Assad!

The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

The Day of the Lord is drawing nearer!  Are you ready for it?  Have you accepted the full gift of pardon in Jesus Christ that He purchased for you at the cross!  He paid an awesome price to purchase your forgiveness.  God is so holy that one sin--ONE SIN--will keep you from His presence.  There had to be a payment for sin so that you could be forgiven.  That payment for your sin required eternal blood because sin was a crime against an eternal God and the punishment for it was eternal as well.  Only one man, EVER, has claimed to be both God and man in one--Jesus!  Only one man's blood was of eternal origin so that it could pay for the eternal crimes against an eternal God--The blood of the LAMB, JESUS CHRIST! He also backed His claim with infallible proofs including a verified resurrection!  Turn to Him and accept in prayer the forgiveness that is yours!  Don't procrastinate!  Don't put it off another minute!  Time is so short!  Turn your case God has against you over to the Divine Advocate, Jesus Christ.  He is God's only anointed Lamb for sinners!  There is NO OTHER WAY TO GET TO A HOLY GOD!  Unless you are as perfect as Adam was before the ONE SIN marred him you have no hope without that payment of Christ for your sin!



There is an air of urgency with this request.   Have you seen today's news?  It is a harbinger of the fulfillment of  one of the Bible's yet to be fulfilled prophecies.  It is the total annihilation of Damascus, Syria when they make the fateful decision to attack God's covenant land and people--Israel!  Read it for your self!  The fulfillment is close.  Soon there will be no more Syria!  Southern Lebanon will be taken. Western Jordan will also become an Israeli possession.  Egypt will be destroyed and uninhabitable for forty years.  It is Soon2Come!  The Great Day of the Lord is near upon all heathen!

Not only that, but a great, GREAT economic collapse is on the horizon.  It will make the Great Depression look like a bump on the highway.  Zephaniah saw this terrible day!  Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off....The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly....And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land. Zephaniah 1:11, 14, 17-18  This war and this collapse are near!  Even at the door.  Are you ready?  ARE YOU READY!  Turn now says the LORD!  TURN!!!



You think a Holy God plays with sin?  The Israelites thought that God would not judge their sin due to the Temple of Solomon!  Yet, we know that it was torn down just as God's prophets said.  God does not play with sin!  He is just and must punish evil!  It is just as much a part of HIS character as the love and grace of the cross!  You must choose!  Love or justice--it is your choice!  He is judging now.  Do you realize that the stock market in America was at 12,571.91 shares on July 20th and all looked well?  It seemed the economy was on the rebound after the mess of 2008 (which was also related also to judgment!).  That day--the 20th of July--was the day that Obama said that the military was going to be opened to the godless rebellion of homosexuality.  (Again, like any sin--there is hope in Jesus for even this.  But you must repent and be saved!)  

That day was also the 17th of Tammuz on the Jewish Calendar--the Day Moses broke the 10 Commandments at the base of the mountain when God's people were committing gross immorality in front of the golden calf!   The market is at 10,484.56 at the time of this post.  That means we have had a drop of -2087.35 shares since the land espoused godlessness as a normal behavior as declared by the President. America was birthed in revival and the nation was dedicated to God by our first President George Washington.  It has been cursed by the last few President's as well as the Congress and Supreme Court.  God does not play with sin--He forgives it through the blood of Jesus Christ or He judges it--there is no middle ground!  Turn!  The coming Day of the Lord, Jacob's Trouble, the Great Tribulation is near!  Turn before it is too late!  Maybe you will be hidden before that Great Day of the Lord comes! 

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

The Justice of the People

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Revelation 3:14

Of all of the letters that Jesus dictated through John, the letter to the church of the Laodiceans is most troublesome.  Like Sardis, the Laodicean church never received a word of commendation from the LORD Jesus.  This being the case, we should pay extra close attention to this correspondence so that the grave errors committed by this congregation will not be repeated in our personal walk with Jesus.  We must heed the warnings given by Messiah and allow God to search our hearts through the presence of the Holy Ghost to be certain that the deception and blindness found here doesn't perpetuate in our relationship with Him.  

The name of the church and Jesus' introduction speak much about their condition.  Laodicea means "the justice of the people."  The letter reveals that the one who shed His blood to purchase their salvation had been left out of this human organization bearing His holy name.  The people, not God, were in control.  The devices, strategies, thoughts, ideas, doctrines, and methods of this professional church were men's inventions and not of the Holy Spirit's direction.  Therefore, Jesus immediately introduces Himself as "the Amen."  

It seems that everyone today is an authority on scripture.  The new science of textual criticism has many chasing the wind while trying to discern what is and what is not inspired in Holy Scripture.  Where was this lie of modern science throughout the ages past?  The recent development of such a study should be a hint as to its satanic origins. Take this warning!  When you begin to judge the Bible through a merely human lens and not by the illumination of the Holy Spirit and prayer, you have ceased being a student of God's word and are now an editor.  Are you that smart that you can tell God what should or should not be in His word?  


Add to this lie the many who interpret scripture any way they please. You can find preachers who place the broken, crucified Christ at the same level as Muhammad, Buddha, Krishna, or some other man.  Yet, none of these liars ever came back from the dead to validate their claims. This is why Luke wrote in Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." It is why Jesus stands out as no other.  He worked miracles.  He was the fulfillment of two-thirds of Bible prophecy (with the other third being fulfilled at His second coming).  He was virgin born.  He was without sin.  He was crucified, buried and risen again the third day! He is surely coming again without sin unto salvation! Only Jesus stands out as no other man because only Jesus saves!  Only Jesus claimed to be man and God in one and proved His claims with infallible proofs! There is no other way to God but through Christ and the cross.  He is "THE AMEN", the final say, the final authority, the final word.  Quit believing a lie and follow Jesus the author and finisher of authentic faith!



The fact that He also introduced himself as the faithful and true witness also lets us know that there were many lies being bantered about in this "church".  It sounds like today.  Name a sin and I can find you a list of preachers that will say that it is not sin.  "Alcoholism is a sickness."  "Abortion is a choice."  "Homosexuality is a gift."  "Marriage is what law defines it as."  At the same time, living for God is seen as a sin by many of these "sons of heaven."  "Saying Jesus alone saves is harsh and intolerant."  "Holiness of life is only legalism."  "Don't be so judgmental."  It seems the church does need a faithful and true witness after all. 

Oh!  Creation!  Jesus said I am the Beginning of the Creation of God.  Without Him nothing was made that was made.  Of course, this name came because men had superseded the truths of God with the lies of men and held to them wholeheartedly.  No wonder Jesus--the Creator of all--is standing outside looking in.  Who do you believe Christ or men?  Let God be true and all men be liars!  Open the door for Christ--He is Soon2Come!

Shanah Tovah!

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Rosh Hashanah is a multi-facted holiday.  Of all of the different themes, one revolves around the creation and the beginning reign of God over the physical universe.  It is believed that this is the day that God began to CALL UP the universe!  He is still King and LORD of all.  Surely HE is about to call up His new creation!



Paul also dealt with newness when he reminded the Christians in Corinth that they were a new creation in Christ.  Have you had that expereince?  Have you called on Jesus and been born again in newness of life?  If so, someday you will raise from this old world when the last trump is sounded and be raised to life without corruption!  May you be blessed in Yeshua!  Many blessings to you!  Trust Jesus!  HE is Soon2Come!

Jesus Loves You--Just a Reminder

"As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full."
John 15:9-11

How much does God love you?  Have you ever wondered?  Do you wonder now?  Do the circumstances of your life cloud your assessment of the love of God for you?  Are there times you feel that your sin is so great that God has forsaken you or that He is punishing you?  Today, rather than dealing with the many great prophetic signs, let's look at the love of God as revealed in the verses above.

There is a measure of God's love for you.  Where?  It is the measure of the Father's love for the Son!  "As the Father hath loved me..."  As much as God the Father loves God the Son, that is the measure of love God has for you.  Read the verses above again just to be sure and then believe.  Hear the Word of the LORD by faith--HE has an immeasurable amount of love for you.  He knew all your sin when He went to Calvary and still saw you as worth the effort. It is revealed in the work of Christ at Calvary!  "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him,"  Romans 5:8-9!  Why do you doubt?  Why do you fear?  Why do you worry?  Does GOD have to prove His love for you again?  Trust Him by faith!  He loves you!


John Parsons of http://www.hebrew4christians.com/ wrote a sentence that has burned in me for days since I read it.  "The message of the gospel requires that you regard yourself as worth dying for, that you are God's friend..."Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends,"  John 15:3.  God deemed YOU as worth the sacrifice of Calvary--don't ever doubt the love of God!  Accept it! We spend too much time wondering, worrying, fretting, and fearing as to whether God sees us or cares, yet the cross is substantial evidence that we are loved with a love so amazing that it cannot be described.  Peter describes that our reciprocated love should cause us to have overwhelming joy and not doubt. "Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory,  1 Peter 1:8."

It is this overwhelming love of God that makes us to desire a holy, righteous life!  When we see the massive price that was paid, we will desire to live as one for whom such a great price is paid.  It calls, it pleads, it begs that we operate in faith as we see the plan of God that spared no expense in our redemption.  It is this love that brings us to trust God wholeheartedly no matter what circumstances this sinful world put us in.  It sees the cross and claims that love and then it responds with a gracious heart of obedience!  "For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love, Galatians 5:8."  



God's love is also the reason that we can see the ever approaching signs of the coming of Christ.  He will not stay in heaven while His creation writhes in wickedness, but He will come to redeem and restore!  His love and justice calls!  Come home!  Come to the one who loves you so!  Come to the one who loves you so and pray! Pray!  "Father, I accept the love you have shown for me by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on that bloody cross.  Forgive me of all my sin and transgression.  Wash me clean in the blood that was shed for me.  Even now save me Jesus!  Assist me in living a sold out life to you"

Bema and then a White Throne!

"He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah."  
Psalm 50:4-6

Are you ready for judgment?  All will be judged.  The church will be judged by Christ for what they have done here with the gifts and calling they were given.  The unbelieving world will also be judged at a much later date.  It will occur at the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ where they too give an account for their life and the rejection of the love of God displayed at the cross.  All will be judged!  Are you ready for judgment?

Shortly, all believers will stand before Jesus and their deeds for Him will be reviewed!  The scripture is very clear about this.  "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad," 2 Corinthians 5:10. " So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God,"  Romans 14:12.  "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear," 1 Peter 4:17-18?  If you are not ready fellow child--prepare yourself, make your robes white lest you are embarrassed when your SOON COMING KING arrives!  Even now He is preparing to open the seals that come after we are gone.   
Prepare!  Prepare!  Prepare before you see King Jesus!

  

For those who don't accept Christ--do not think for a moment that He does not see your rejection of the cross.  Your judge will be the nail scarred Nazarene!  He will be just, but you will look on those scars He bears as a reminder of the Love of God you rejected!  Every sin will be reviewed.  You will cry, "No! Not that! Not here!  Not so all can see!"  There is only one way of escape from such a telling review--accept the payment for your sin Jesus made for you and accept the love of God in Christ!  Call unto Jesus now before it is too late!  Pray, "Father, I accept the love you have shown for me by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on that bloody cross.  Forgive me of all my sin and transgression.  Wash me clean in the blood that was shed for me.  Even now save me Jesus!"   Agree with God about your sin and agree that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is more than enough to wash away all your guilt!   



Please don't delay. The signs of the disappearance of millions of ready believers are everywhere around us.  The world stage is currently set for the rise of the Antichrist and False Prophet.  The LORD is angry at adultery and sexual sin.  He hates divorce and what it is doing to society--how it hurts innocent children.  The abomination of homosexuality and the mockery of marriage will make Him rise from His Holy throne!  The murder of untold millions of infants in the womb is a heartbreaking sin that will cause Christ to soon mount up for His return!  The separating of Israel from the Land God owns and lent to Jacob's children forever is a sure sign that the end of this era is upon us!  It is a sure and definite sign that the Lord is ready to set in motion the last seven years before His return.  There will be a massive war soon as a further sign! Are you ready!  Jesus is coming!  
Turn!  Turn!  Turn before it is too late!


These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Our Protector!

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
Psalm 37:12-19

So many are under the grip of fear and stress today!  It actually is hard not to be!  With the situation in the Middle East deteriorating, with catastrophe encompassing every part of the globe, with wickedness and apostasy growing, and with the economy reeling it is hard for most to trust!  Even in this--trust God!  He is a sure and steady foundation for those who call on Him for salvation and safety.  The world is looking for peace and safety, but they have walked away from the source.  Jesus is Peace, and Jesus is Safety!  Look unto He who is the author and finisher of your faith.  He will get you through these tough times.  Jesus specializes in protecting His followers!  He is our protector!




The prior post "Peace and Safety" mentioned that the UN had a verse from Isaiah 2 in front of the UN building and on a statue in the UN garden.  Isaiah 2:4 says, "And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."  Yet, not all of this passage is on the UN wall.  It just says, "they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."  Did you notice what is missing?  Jesus!  He is the "He" at the beginning of the verse who shall judge the nations.  He was left out of the UN from its very inception.  You can't leave the source of peace and safety out and expect to have peace and safety.  This is one of the many reasons that there will be no peace apart from Messiah Sar Shalom--Christ the Prince of Peace!


Jesus specializes in bringing His peace to His followers in impossible situations.  When things look their bleakest, that is when He stands with us through the fire and the flood as we rest in Him.  As an example, I thought that I would share a true testimony.  My brother was attached with a military unit that was doing work in Spain.  They were repeatedly warned to be careful and not to be out on the town alone since there were gangs of people who were notorious for thievery.  Yet, he decided to go out investigating alone.  He turned down an ally by accident that was a dead end with walls on every side.  When he turned to leave after realizing his mistake, a group of the very people whom he had been warned about had boxed him in.  The situation looked impossible.  Again, Jesus specializes in the impossible!



Not knowing what to do, there was only time to pray.  Then he did something most unusual.  He raised both arms in the air and began to run towards the thugs.  As he ran he shouted, "Usted necesita a Jesucristo!"  "Your need Jesus Christ!"  As he was running he heard what sounded like others running up from behind him.  He did not see anyone, but he distinctly heard the sound of something running past  him on the left and the right and what sounded like wind as well.  At that very moment, a look of terror seized the would be attackers.  They immediately turned around and ran as if they were under assault themselves.  Nothing is impossible for God!   He will protect His children who call on him in the hour of need!

I could tell you many, many personal stories like these.  There was the time that my wife and I were stranded in Germany without money only to have a man that hated me give us the money we needed.  This same man had once told me that he would take me out if I mentioned Jesus to him just one more time.  There was the time when we were on a dark road and were nearly hit head on (also in Germany).  We made a 90 degree turn at 50 miles per hour and somehow ended up squarely on a dirt farm path without any injury.  It was as if the car had been picked up and sat on the road.  There was the time I was street preaching when a woman held a loaded revolver to my forehead (I am still here to write this am I not).  Story after story after story could be told.  Even when tragedy struck, Jesus got us though.  Read pages 22-23 of this online magazine for another one of those personal stories after the death of a child.    Evangel - December 2010

  In all of this --JESUS HAS NEVER FAILED TO HELP!

Neither will He fail you if you call on Him today!  Jesus never fails!  Do government concerns have you down?  The government rests on His shoulders.  Are you in fear over the world economic situation?  What is there that Jesus does not own?  Fearful about the rise of false doctrine and lies?  Jesus is the Truth!  No matter what the need Jesus is the answer.  Again trust Him--Jesus never fails. 
     
Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Peace and Safety!

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
1 Thessalonians 5:3

During the 1950s the US instituted a resolution that was drafted and supported by theses countries:  United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Turkey, Philippines and Uruguay.  The overall purpose was to prevent the Soviet Union from continually vetoing important measures at the height of the Korean war when in the UN Security Council.  This resolution is known as the "Uniting for Peace" resolution.  Following are some of the words of this resolution:  
  • "Reaffirming the importance of the exercise by the Security Council of its primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security, and the duty of the permanent members to seek unanimity and to exercise restraint in the use of the veto," ...
  • "Recognizing in particular that such failure does not deprive the General Assembly of its rights or relieve it of its responsibilities under the Charter in regard to the maintenance of international peace and security," ...
  • "Resolves that if the Security Council, because of lack of unanimity of the permanent members, fails to exercise its primary responsibility for the maintenance of international peace and security in any case where there appears to be a threat to the peace, breach of the peace, or act of aggression, the General Assembly shall consider the matter immediately with a view to making appropriate recommendations to Members for collective measures, including in the case of a breach of the peace or act of aggression the use of armed force when necessary, to maintain or restore international peace and security."


What has brought us to the vote at the UN over a possible Palestinian state on covenant land?  Was it not the encouragement of President Obama?  Here are two quotes from the President:   

 "I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world....The situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable. America will not turn our backs on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for dignity, opportunity, and a state of their own."  June 2009--Cairo, Egypt

"When we come back here next year, we can have an agreement that will lead to a new member of the United Nations - an independent, sovereign state of Palestine, living in peace with Israel." Sep 23, 2010 from the UN General Assembly, NY

Well, next year is here and they are preparing for a vote on the floor.  What happens if the floor votes to enact a Palestinian state and the measure is passed, but the US vetoes the vote in the security council?  If the peace and safety of the world is threatened (and we are talking about radical Islam here), then the UN can circumvent the security council decision by evoking the little known "Uniting for Peace" resolution--resolution 377. The UN is poised to make a state regardless of any security council veto!  Many scriptures seem to allude to this very scenario including the one above.  Ironically, this would be the eleventh use of Resolution 377.  Eleven is symbolic for the confusion caused by sin that is short of God's government on earth which is symbolized by the number twelve!  http://philologos.org/__eb-nis/eleven.htm

One thing is for sure--when they say peace and safety then sudden destruction comes!  God's word has a 100%, yes 100%,  accuracy rating when it comes to prophecy!  



This move to create a Palestinian state is a direct affront to God Almighty!  This land is God's covenant land with Israel and nowhere was it revoked.  God promised to temporarily remove them twice for disobedience, but He also promised to bring them back to the land.  He also promised grave retribution for any nation who stands in the way of His prophetic plan of redemption for Israel and the nations.  



Think about this.  The UN thinks it is the world's peacemaker.  As another affront to God Almighty, they have a verse from the writings of Isaiah on a wall outside of the UN building in New York City.  "And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."  Isaiah 2:4  The "He" in this verse is not the body of the UN but the Lord Jesus Christ--the Prince of Peace!  He will gather all nations and judge them at the sheep and goat judgment at the end of the 7 year Tribulation.  So what is the sin that cause nations to be set aside for damnation at this special judgment?  Stealing His covenant land from its rightful heirs--the children of Israel!  The center of the land grant to Israel contains Messiah Yeshua's own land grant given to Him as the Great High Priest after the order of Melchizedek--the Priest-King!

God gave another prophet a serious word for the UN today and their fatal decision!  It is the opposite of Isaiah's prophecy of Messiah Sar Shalom.  "I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong."  Joel 3:2, 9, 10
