The war rumors have resurfaced in nearly every news outlet. Only time will tell. One thing is assured. God will have Israel to triumph to the glory of His name. He keeps His promises to His faithful and He knows the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning.

Why Worry?

(To the chief Musician upon Jonathelemrechokim, Michtam of David, when the Philistines took him in Gath.)
Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me. Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High. What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me...Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?"
 Psalm 56:1-4 & 8.

I talk to a lot of people who are gravely concerned about the current time in which we live. They are so worried about where the nation is going, the homosexual agenda, an unfriendly, godless court system, a self serving government that seems bent on usurping the rights of Americans while making us subservient to foreign powers, and, of course, the economic downturn. It is very easy to get so fearful and overwhelmed that we lose eternal perspective. Jesus warned this could happen when He said, "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." Mt 24:12

By eternal perspective, I mean that we need to refocus on God the Eternal One! He has not left us without guidance about times like this and we have the promise of a lifetime which states, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." (see Hebrews 13:5) God is not quaking in fear as to what to do next. He is not fearful of the unjust justices because they will give an account to Him for every godless decision. For this reason, we should pray for them that God opens their eyes for they have much to be accountable for including the murder of millions of infants. The fight against a godly family and homosexuality does not make Him fear. Sensual ministers that do not preach truth does not invalidate His purposes. He even warned us of these gospel perverters in Jude and 2 Peter 3. He is not scared of the immoral policies of the current President, nor does He worry about the soon coming tribulation spearheaded by Satan and anti-Christ. God is in control. He purposed these days to be a stark contrast to the kingdom rule of Jesus Christ. God is in control. Let me say it just once more, "Don't worry--God is in control. Trust Him, He knows where He is leading us! God Bless and keep eternal focus.
