"Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." Genesis 2:24 Marriage between a man and a woman was the very first human social institution that God created. It had a serious purpose as a shadow of the relationship of Christ to the Church. To mess with this type is to poke a finger in the eye of God. How serious is the type? Adam was put into a deep sleep similar to the sleep of death Jesus faced at the cross. Adam's rib was wounded in order to make Eve just as Christ's side was wounded from which flowed water and blood. A man and woman would be married for a lifetime just as our commitment to Christ and God's commitment to us is to last for a life here and throughout eternity. The types just keep going! Yet, our government has decided to pollute this hallowed institution by proclaiming June LGBT month! Government sanctioning of homosexuality and sexual deviancy will lead to judgment on this nation! It will also lead to judgment on the world as this sinful lifestyle strikes harshly at the holiness of God. Killer storms, gulf oil nightmares, a reeling economy, are all of these just coincidences?
