Update: It had already been noted that 2011 is a record year for disasters not only for the US but for the whole world as well.
It has been just over a month since my last note on this subject.
The disasters are still accumulating! It seems that the world is reeling and rocking just as the LORD has said. He warned us of earthquakes in diverse places. The quake intensity seemed to calm down for about a month and then hit again with a vengeance. First, Papua, New Guinea was hit with a 6.5 on the 14th. Next, Texas was hit with an unusual quake on the 20th. Though these two did minimal damage, they are noteworthy. In a period of about 24 hours the world was then rocked by 2 quakes of an intensity greater than 7.0 on the Richter Scale and a 6.1 near Japan. There was the 7.4 quake that generated a small tsunami off the coast of the Kermedec Islands near New Zealand. Since my last note on this topic one of the Canary Islands had to be evacuated for fear of an explosive volcanic eruption. El Hierro began to rattle greatly over the last couple of months. This volcano is of huge concern since a massive explosion here could send out a very large Atlantic Tsunami.

What about the unusual dust storm in Texas? This is the second event like it this year. The other was in Arizona earlier this year.
Thailand is currently experiencing one of its worst monsoon seasons in many decades. Many surrounding nations are suffering tremendous floods as well including Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Such awful destruction on such a poverty stricken region! Let's not forget the several hundred that have also died here.
There have been two bird die offs as well reminiscent of Hosea 4. The source for the death of the birds in Canada seems to be botulism from eating from a fish die off. Also, birds died in South Carolina and may have been drunk. Who remembers events like this happening with such frequency and intensity?
Also, the sea of humanity continues to church and roil. There are riots throughout Europe, Australia, the Middle East, the US and beyond.
