John and Daniel share one terrifying prerequisite for the False Prophet's ability to force a mark on all unbelieving souls during the Tribulation. It is clear that the Antichrist and the False Prophet will assume total control over all humanity. What most don't understand is the sovereignty of Almighty GOD in this scenario. Why is this power allowed? Again, man has repeatedly rejected God in the daily governance of life, so He is only giving them what they wish for a short season. Ironic isn't it? Men want to escape God's control but do not see that this escape puts them under the dominion of Satan. Furthermore, were that short season not shortened, men would annihilate themselves from the planet in just over 7 Jewish lunar years time.
It is this control during the Tribulation that is one of the many signals of the absence of the Church, Christ's Bride. Jesus promised that the gates of Hell could not prevail against the church. Like Job, if the enemy is to afflict the church he must do so by the LORD's permission under God's preset conditions. These limits only allow a situation where believers turn to GOD wholeheartedly while removing things in their life that are displeasing as the Holy Spirit and the Word to bring revelation to God's child. However, in the Tribulation the Antichrist is repeatedly said to have power over the Saints; therefore, this is not the church. These are those who would not heed the call to salvation prior to the rapture. Where does that leave you?
It is obvious to those paying attention that humanity is slowly loosing their freedoms in the countries where freedom once ruled. Just today, an article was posted relating that homeschooling residents in Alberta, Canada do not have the right to teach their own children in their own home that homosexuality is a sin. In the United States, the President signed the National Defense Authorization Act on December 31, 2011 as the last official act of that year. Many note that this was a holiday season so the populace was distracted. In essence, the bill which 93 senators voted yes for, strips a citizen of his/her rights by claiming that the US is a war zone. Just last week, the law was enacted in a speech by the President. Alongside this, discussion is now made about the power of the President to assassinate US citizens without due process if he deems them to be terrorists. Thankfully, some states are now fighting this power grab.
There are also repeated attempts to empower global government via the UN. The point of this all is that we can begin seeing the framework for complete control now. Join this with the articles on universal surveillance, technological advances for placing readable microchips in humans, and complete control of food and water, we can see that the fulfillment of Revelation 13 is close!
Just a few short years of rule is all this destructive trio get. Satan, the Antichrist, and the False Prophet already have their destiny determined. Under Christ's command, the Antichrist and the False Prophet are cast alive into the lake of eternal fire. They are there alone until the end of Jesus' 1000 year reign. Satan is cast into the abyss, but is loosed briefly for a short season at the end of the Millennial Reign. He is then brought before all humanity where he will bow and proclaim Jesus Christ as LORD! While these have a set destiny, you do not! You can clearly choose Christ today! Won't you do that now? There is only one time in history when men will not be given a second chance and that is when they consciously accept the mark of the beast mid-way through the Tribulation. Please make the right choice now before that time arrives and you may make the wrong choice for the sake of convenience. Don't delay! Certainly Jesus Christ is Soon2Come!
