"A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished." Proverbs 22:3

During the 2 years before the 2K virus was to decimate the world, I watched many people begin to panic and allow fear to dictate their actions. Many friends asked me why I wasn't preparing for the upcoming problems. My response was always the same. "I have peace about it and I believe that things are going to be alright", I would say. This was a similar response when many began to fear that Jesus was going rapture the church on the Feast of Trumpets in 1988. There was no reason to fear or panic, and we made no provisions to gather in prayer for two days as some churches did. I am ready to go no matter when the trumpet sounds. That is the way we should be as believers. God has a plan and He will accomplish His will in His time.

Having said this, I now feel that the Lord is prompting me to prepare for an upcoming trial to befall the nation. There are many indicators that a soon coming judgement may befall the land. It would be a good idea to stockpile at least three to six months of provisions for a serious tragedy. No matter what happens, we are safe in Christ's providence. He will care for His children as He did the Israelites in Egypt. The Egyptians were being hit with plagues while the Israelites were safe. There does seem to be a prompting of the Holy Spirit to prepare for a problem in America soon. Any serious student of prophecy knows that the US is not mentioned in the Tribulation. That leaves us with the understanding that something has happened to destabilize the nation as a world power. We are seeing this happening all around us. Yesterday, we learned that nations are conspiring to remove the dollar as the oil standard. Japan and China have been threatening to call their loans and sell off dollars. This will destroy our economy. Add the moral and spiritual decay in our nation and you have the recipe for divine judgment. Friend ready your heart and life for anything. If I were the only one saying this, you could call me a loon. But this seems to be a consistent message coming from many godly men. Please prepare for tough times soon. Remember, people thought Noah was a loon until they felt the first raindrops.

I was reading Daniel and Ezekiel yesterday and noticed how greatly these two men were used by God. They were given some of the greatest prophecies and details in scripture. These were given in the midst of the trials of captivity. God cared for His own then and greatly used them. To those who are faithful, He will greatly use you too! God Bless. JN
