War On The Horizon?

It seems that today's news is showing two simultaneous events taking place. One, it seems that the threat of a Middle East war is growing daily. Two, the American Presidency is drastically changing policy despite the will of the people and the motions from the Congress to support Israel. In the end, the American Presidency will be destabilized by God for its foolishness. It will happen in a way that no man can claim, "I did this". God, Himself will protect the covenant land! As evidence from scripture, listen to the warnings of Zechariah as he prophetically saw the day when Jerusalem would be the focus of world attention, "And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it." (Zechariah 12:3). The very next verse describes armies that are overthrown and overwhelmed by God, "In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness." (Zechariah 12:4) Finally, the Lord reassures the world and Israel that Jerusalem is their everlasting possession, "And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem." We are witnessing the beginnings of the fulfillment to these prophecies NOW! I repeat my plea again for those who are not ready!

Are You Ready?

It can't be long until Jesus Christ returns for His church. Are you ready? So many are walking under their own direction today rather than heed the scriptures. My friend, eternity is a long, long time to be wrong about salvation. Many will suffer in eternity forever just knowing they had a chance at life in Christ but refused to accept Him as savior. there is not much time left and the signs show major prophetic events on the horizon. If you do not know Jesus as savior please pray,

"God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus' precious and holy name. Amen."
